Sue Highland was appointed to the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) from 15 February 2007 to 31 December 2009.
Sue’s career has spanned over 20 years in the Queensland public sector, specialising in the accounting field covering accounting policy development for the public sector, establishing whole of government reporting in Queensland and engaging in audit activities. As Director, she is responsible for the development and maintenance of accounting policy, financial management and legislative frameworks governing Queensland public sector entities.
Sue is also actively interested in supporting Nonprofit Organisations and is working in partnership with the Queensland University of Technology in this area.
