Latif joined the AASB in 2008. He is currently working on a range of projects, for - the public and private sectors, including:
- borrowing costs
- presentation of financial statements
- GAAP/GFS harmonisation
- standard business reporting
Previously, he worked as an auditor at the South Australian Auditor-General's office. He has also worked as an accounting and auditing tutor at the University of Adelaide.
