Robert Keys

Robert joined the predecessor to the AASB, the Australian Accounting Research Foundation (AARF), in 1993.
He is currently working on a range of projects, including:
- disclosures by private sector not-for-profit entities
- GAAP/GFS harmonisation
- intangible assets
He was seconded to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) during 1996 and, from July 2000 to June 2006, he worked as Technical Advisor to Australia's representative on the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB).
Prior to working in accounting standard setting, Robert taught at secondary and tertiary levels before joining Price Waterhouse in its Business Efficiency Education Services division.
