2024 AASB Research Forum Call for Expressions of Interest

Researchers are invited to submit working papers or research proposals for the 2024 AASB Research Forum, themed Accounting and Reporting in Changing Times

Some suggested topics include:

• Digital corporate reporting
• Forward-looking information
• Goodwill and impairment
• Intangible assets, including emerging assets such as digital assets
• Management commentary
• Provisions
• Service performance reporting
• Sustainability reporting

Submissions addressing other matters not listed above will also be considered.

How to submit an expression of interest

In your submission, please provide:

• Paper title
• Names of researchers and institutions they represent
• Synopsis – please submit a maximum of 200 words on each of the following:
  • Research objectives, proposed research questions and methodology
  • The relevance of possible conclusions from the research to inform the AASB’s standard setting activities and its strategic objectives
  • Possible assistance you may require from the AASB (if required)
