Helena Simkova - Director

The AASB's Acting Technical Director, Helena Simkova, has a wealth of experience in the financial space, having previously worked with PwC in Assurance Services and in the Capital Markets and Accounting Consulting Services, and within the firm's. Additionally, Helena worked as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Telstra at the Statutory Reporting and Policy Group before taking on the role of Senior Project Manager at the AASB, where in 2020 she assumed the role of Acting Technical Director.

Helena's industry experience as well as international exposure across Australia, India, and Czech Republic, has given her a high-level of cross-cultural literacy that benefits the AASB in its dealings with both domestic and international stakeholders.
