As a Senior Manager at the AASB, Kim oversees several projects in the for-profit private sector space, including the Business Combinations – Disclosures, Goodwill and Impairment project originating from the IASB.
Since joining the AASB in 2018, Kim has worked on a number of important projects including being a key member of the project team responsible for removing the ability for certain for-profit private sector entities to prepare special purpose financial statements (AASB 2020-2).
Prior to joining the AASB Kim spent more than 18 years in professional services. With most of that time spent in technical accounting roles, Kim developed strong technical accounting skills through providing practical technical accounting advice to a wide range of entities.
