International and Public Sector Technical Lead
As International and Public Sector Technical Lead, Patricia provides technical leadership on projects affecting for-profit, not-for-profit and public sector entities and engages with preparers, auditors, government agencies and professional bodies on emerging reporting issues. She contributes to international and regional standard-setting discussions through the IASB’s Accounting Standards Advisory Forum (ASAF), the Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group (AOSSG) and engagement with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB), providing technical input on emerging accounting and sustainability reporting issues and helping ensure Australian perspectives are considered in the development of global reporting requirements.
Before joining the AASB, Patricia held senior technical policy roles at NSW Treasury and NSW Health and worked in assurance and advisory roles at a Big Four accounting firm. With more than 20 years of experience spanning accounting standard-setting, government policy, technical advisory and audit, she bridges technical and operational perspectives in the development and implementation of reporting requirements.
