Assistant Senior Manager – International
As Assistant Senior Manager International, Salma supports the international profile of the AASB. This includes contributing to new and emerging international strategic initiatives and maintaining active engagement within the international standard-setting community. Salma leads the project management of AASB’s International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters (IFASS) Co-Chair role.
Salma brings a strong multidisciplinary background in sustainability, business, corporate governance, and risk advisory. She has extensive experience across government and advisory sectors in Canada, the United States, and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Business (Honours) from the University of Waterloo, with a specialisation in Environmental Management Systems, and has professional qualifications in project, program, and portfolio management.
